Got for my 12 year old who is a very heavy sleeper. After a few weeks, was waking up on his own. Had been about 4-6 weeks of consistent use and then he felt he has been doing so well, not using it or the pull ups any more.
I have to say I was skeptical about this especially the cost but within 2 weeks of use our 5 year old is now dry through the night and can take himself to the toilet when needed. We have the occasional accident but otherwise super thrilled with the result and so is he.
I rated you a three because the sensor kept moving in my grandsons underwear. I had put the sensor in a feminine napkin cut in half that automatically stuck to his underwear. The sensor kept moving a lot of time. The sensor was not in the place where he would wet so it was very confusing to him that he would wet and the alarm would not go off. He moves around a lot in his sleep. I believe it would be better if you could make some type of underwear that the sensor fit into properly according to underwear size for the child. I am thankful for your product because it has built up his confidence so that he knows he can stay dry at night. Thank you for your product and take into consideration my suggestion.
After two weeks my son (8) who had been wetting pull-ups every night is now waking to go to the toilet when he needs to. Excellent product!
We used the alarm with our 5 year old. It took a few weeks before we started to notice results and then sometimes felt like he was going backwards. After about 5 weeks and no more then 3 consecutive dry nights at a time we decided we would have a break as our 3rd baby was about to arrive and we needed to move our toddler in with the 5YO. As soon as we took the alarm away he started being dry we have just gone 20 consecutive nights dry in undies. So although it may not have worked the same way it has with others I believe the alarm obviously helped enough to make our son click. Very happy parents here!!
We purchased the Dri Sleeper Excel for our nearly 5 year old son who simply didn’t/couldn’t wake during the night for toilet, despite being fully toilet trained since age 3 during the day.
The alarm exceeded all of our expectations. Within approximately 2 weeks of using it he started to wake at least once per night to go to the toilet before the alarm sounded. By around week 4 he was waking multiple times per night without the alarm sounding and getting up independently to go to the toilet himself. He has now progressed into undies at night and he is so proud of himself.
The alarm itself and the cord never bothered him during the night, I was a bit worried it would be uncomfortable and would tangle, but we never had any issues.
I highly recommend the Dri Sleeper excel, there is no negative feedback whatsoever from us.
Really happy to let you know this product has been 💯 % successful- its very easy to use and I wish I’d got onto it years ago.
My 9 year old son rarely had a dry night and is a very heavy sleeper. Having had numerous hospital appointments and seen a naturopath and tried an alarm from the hospital with the wires nothing seemed to be working. I did some of my own research online and saw the amazing reviews from the wireless DRI Sleeper, it gave me hope that it might be the solution. A couple of weeks into using it (tucked into his pull ups) we saw some improvement and it’s now been about 4 weeks of dry nights, a total miracle for us! Don’t hesitate trying it. An amazing product and just might be the solution for your son or daughter! Great company with lots of helpful advise.
I have tried several less expensive alarms which quickly broke. This alarm seems durable and the wireless feature is a nice upgrade. Unfortunately my daughter hasn’t seen any improvement in bed wetting - she pees, alarm goes off.
Very impressed with how sensitive the alarm is. Wireless is fantastic and it’s compact so you can take it anywhere with you.
Great product that took only just over 2 weeks for our daughter to go from wetting the bed twice to sleeping through and waking up dry.
The only small problem we had was the parent device sometimes did not go off but other than that well worth the money
It’s been 7 weeks and my son is still wet I’m the evening. He fails to wake up when the alarm goes off. The cord is too long also and sometimes gets caught.
It's important to thread the cord under a tshirt or pajama top. Get in touch if you would like to talk about this, maybe a wireless sensor might be more suitable for your child.
Practicing the alarm procedure before going to bed is one technique you should use. Read this blog post for information on how to help deep sleepers use the alarm.
My ten year old was beginning to lose hope that she'd ever have consistent dry nights. This alarm's piercingly loud alert is "bad enough" to wake her (most of the time) and we're finally getting week-long strings of dry nights for the first time ever. It's not magic (of course) but it works well, is loud enough, and being wireless is definitely worth it (she broke a cheaper wired version from a different company). Definitely recommend.
Well worth giving the DRI Sleeper Bedwetting Alarms ago, it take a little time to overcome the bed wetting, but the alarm help the body recognize we need to go to the loo
This worked perfectly for my 6 year old. The initial practicing was crucial, and we started to see some consistent improvement after 2 weeks. Becoming completely dry took another couple of weeks to master, but we did it! Brilliant.
It took about 3 weeks of using the alarm but finally my boy is in underwear at night. He is such a heavy sleeper but the alarm has made him more aware. We have continued to use it as it’s really hard to wake him up. So relieved he is out of nappies finally. He is 6 and I think the longer you wait the harder it is. I should have bought this sooner.
Highly recommend, it’s taken about 7 weeks but we are down to 1 wet night a week, if that. First two weeks we moved mr 7 bed into our room to get him into a routine, then he continued on his own.
Our son fairly quickly learnt to get up because the sound of the alarm annoyed him. It certainly acted as an aid to overcome bed-wetting, but is expensive for what it is.
