About the Excel bedwetting alarm

The DRI Sleeper Excel is the classic DRI Sleeper alarm and has been used successfully for decades by hundreds of thousands of children worldwide to solve bedwetting.

  • Dual-Sided Sensor with 18 Sensing strips for fast detection of urine
  • Loud alarm set to a frequency that is ideal for deep sleepers
  • Long Cord (85cm) - for extra reach
  • Works with pull-ups or diapers unlike clip-on sensors
  • Flexible Plastic Sensor - easy to clean & won't rust or corrode like metal ones

The Excel Alarm is attached by a clip to the shoulder of your child's night-shirt with a plug-in double-sided plastic sensor with 18 sensing strips. This means superior moisture detection, which is good for boys who may wet in different areas, and because the sensor goes right inside the underwear it can be used with pull-ups and diapers, unlike alarms with the traditional clip-on sensors.

  • Batteries included (4 * LR44)
  • 1 Year Warranty
  • Toll-free support phone number and email

Good product good price

Bought this for our son. It’s very sensitive and alarm goes off immediately. He doesn’t mind wearing the wire but says it’s a bit uncomfortable in some sleeping positions. We haven’t experienced success yet but will keep using it

Please get in touch if you would like to discuss strategies that could be helpful.

Another great result

I just recently posted a review about using this product with my 7 year old son, and I'm happy to say it has now also worked with my 4.5 year old daughter. It took less than 1 week for her to become completely night dry after being a heavy night wetter. The first few nights the alarm went off several times throughout the night when she wet and I had to wake her up each time and take her to the toilet to finish off. We also had the alarm fall off a couple of times and her intentionally set it off a couple of times. I had started to think maybe it wasn't going to work with her and that she was just too young, but I was determined to try stick it out a bit longer. So glad I did, because a few days later the amount of times the alarm went off reduced to just once a night. Then the next night she actually woke up herself before the alarm went off and called out to me to help take her to the toilet! She did this for a couple of nights and she now usually just holds on all night without even needing to get up and go to the toilet. Amazed at how quickly it worked for her and also that it can also work for younger children too. So great to finally be completely done with nappies!

What a great team effort! We wish you all the best for the future..

Fantastic for deep sleepers

My daughter is a deep sleeper and I wasn’t sure what to do to get out of pull ups. This alarm system was the answer. It didn’t take long to train her body and now I take her to the toilet before I go to bed, then she doesn’t go again until morning. Her brain and body have now trained to hold it over night or she wakes up to go all by herself.

Great news! We wish her all the best for the future.

Questions Parents often ask

Most likely, a bedwetting alarm solves bedwetting for up to 9 in 10 young people. We have many resources and lots of experience so can guide you if needed.

Typically, 70% of young people will be dry in 2 to 12 weeks using our alarms. Some are quicker, some take longer. We encourage you to use the resources we provide and talk to our adviser to get the best outcome for your young person.

Yes, it is very safe. Our alarms comply with all regulatory requirements around the use and safety of electronic devices. The sensor contains Safety Electronics which means no risk of skin irrritation. There are no metal contacts so no part of the sensor will corrode or deteriorate in urine.

We suggest ditching the diapers as they can remove the feeling of wetness which may interfere with the learning process. If you need the diapers to reduce the stress or mess, then go for it.

Children may eventually learn not to wet the bed on their own. However, at the age of 9, 50% of bedwetters will still be wetting the bed. This can interfere with their self confidence especially when it comes to school camps and sleepovers. Therefore, helping your child to stop wetting at night, in the same way as most children are taught to use the toilet during the day, can do wonders for their self esteem.

Many children have low levels of ADH, but DON'T we the bed. If low levels of ADH are an issue, your doctor may prescribe medication to use along with the alarm.

Yes, you can use our strategies for deep sleepers to help them learn to sleep dry. Remember MANY children are deep sleepers and don’t wet the bed.
